Tweeter-A-Day-365@Roycin D’souza
Roycin D’ souza is just 20 and into Professional Photography and works around Music & Digital Media Projects for a living. These days he is clicking creative pictures of people from twitter.
Under a new project Tweeter-A-Day-365 ( #TAD365) he has taken up, he would be putting up a picture of one person from twitter, a day. He says, this will give him a chance to put a face on those who he has been following for the last one year.
This third year BCom student has already uploaded around 182 portraits and each photograph of his tells an interesting story. His Nikon D7000 is his best companion and some of his celebrity shots have been with musicians Raghu Dixit, Ehsaan Noorani, Salim Merchant, and Shibani Kashyap. Though most of his shots have been clicked in Mumbai but he plans visiting other cities as well.
We profile him this week as our newsmaker and we are sure, every shot of his will leave you amazed. Our creative team has been working on his shots since a week or so, but we were still undecided on which are the best ones which can be used!
Roycin is no ordinary man. In a freewheeling chat with Amit Roy, The Sip of Life Moderator, he says he has been shooting for this particular project since May this year. He was inspired by Project365 , a popular project to document lives through photographs and Roycin is doing just that!
Everyday he has a new story to tell, like for instance someone with fish market therapy has been photographed as the fish seller, a food blogger has been clicked with fruits all around him. We have tried to make today’s write-up short to adjust as many pictures as possible, because that’s what makes Roycin what he is – a photo perfectionist!
“I used to follow a lot of people on twitter and many used to follow me, so once just decided to photograph interesting people in my list. Initially I spent some time in Pune and then Goa, and there was no looking back after that”, Roycin says.
Interestingly, it is his followers who are supporting the project financially, besides of course some other twitter-bugs.
“In my life, I want to achieve a lot and photography is my passion which I want to be my profession too”, he says with an emphatic smile. Roycin has indeed set an example of how social networking has a lot to it, and most of his followers and fans look forward to seeing his new tweet.

Excellent portraits. Great project. I’m sure many would like to tweet with D’Souza to get their portraits done:)
Great Job! nad profile. Roysin, keep it up. I believe the first one to be put up on #TAD365 is Mr Amit Roy himself as he is doing a great work himself with sip of life. Cheers!
