Alan C. Geoghegan from Columbia, the state capital of South Carolina, US, an award-winning Video producer and editor this month shares, ”Preserving Culture, the T’boli of Mindanao part 2″. Alan has spent his working life as a video, audio-visual, website & public relations specialist to support many organizations and private companies in their quest for cost-effective, informative & visually assured media/video/PR services, while riding the cusp of an expanding internet & information explosion. He has collaborated with many diverse clients, producing compelling audio-visual content while exploring, researching & writing about many interesting issues. Alan has done video productions in The Philippines, Mexico, Latin America and Africa.

Alan describes himself in his own words, “I settled in Columbia via New York where I was raised, relocating to South Carolina in 1997 to work for Mediassociates after 4 years of media projects overseas in the Philippines, later working for Medianetwork LLC, a local video production company. I am passionate about multi-cultural, international affairs & issues, while working with local community groups & organizations to promote their objectives & projects often to an internet-based audience. I am married to Maria Cecilia, from Bukidnon, Philippines and we share our home with a dog, Nonoy, a cat, Ming Ming, 2 birds and an 80 gallon fish tank.”
