In Love With…
Cadbury’s is one name which still fascinates me for three reasons: I have a sweet tooth, I love chocolates and I love Cadbury’s! it’s something like an iphone as its commercial says, “If you don’t have an iphone, you don’t have an iphone”, so for me, “If you don’t taste a Cadbury’s you don’t taste a Cadbury’s!”
This Saturday as I share some ‘sweet’ memories of mine, I can’t recollect my association with Cadbury’s or chocolates for that matter. I give a five star to my taste buds which would always literally prey on chocolates.
I remember whenever my dad would go abroad, I would ask for chocolates, and swiss ones as ‘awfully awesomely awesome’, the way I describe them They would just melt the moment they touched the taste buds, as if one melts in love. I would say some ‘melting moments’ indeed!
There was an interesting aspect to it. Whenever I had the chocolate, i would first let it melt and then have it. I am sure some of the readers will come up to me, and say, we also loved the melted chocolate, and we still do.
I remember how excited I used to be whenever there used to be a news story on how good a chocolate is for heart. Just for a simple reason that I could convince my mom how ‘important’ it was for me to have a chocolate a day (to keep the doctor away).
Times have changed but not my ‘love affair’ with the chocolate. It still rules my heart and always will. After all I have had some ‘melting moments’ with it and that craving for my ‘sweetheart’ will remain for all times to come!
(The golden foil still unwraps, even after so many years of my childhood)
