I Am Happy To Be Me!
I am happy to be me.
I read this wonderful saying somewhere recently and thought how important it is for all of us to value ourselves.
It’s true that many of us are discontented with the way we are and in a bid to ‘improve’ ourselves, often lose our own character and all that makes you what you are.
We have to improve but not disapprove our own being because God has been kind enough to give us our own identities distinguishing us from others and giving us an edge over those who do not possess the qualities we do. People tend to wrongly assess themselves, often underestimating their capabilities and instead seeing others what they have, trying to ape them rather than making the best of what you have.
Its good to appreciate the good qualities in others and to pick them up too, but at the same time it’s not good to blame God for not giving those to you. Never forget what he gave you, he didn’t give others and honing your own qualities is what he wants, just like polishing a piece of brass. But we never change the piece, we just polish it to give a better shine.
I have heard people ending their lives just because they are frustrated with their own self – their way of life, or even their appearance. They are not happy about themselves. They are feeling low but dreaming high. They hit a dead end and often find themselves nowhere.
Always remember you have one life to live, but not with regret of not being what you are not, but with a pride for what you are. Explore the ‘You’ in you and when you see yourself in the mirror, say, “I am happy to be me” and you will end up smiling at God and thanking him for making you what you are.

Happiness is so transitory. It is easy to say ‘be happy’ ,but life is so complicated.Sometimes one just hates the taste,to take the sip of life.
People who commit suicide are not those simply unhappy. They have underlying problems.
The thing to learn is that happiness never waits at the end of the road. Learn to take it in tiny sips, all along.
