Blogger’s Choice: Travel Trail

Stephanie Yoder, The Travel Blogger

Twenty-Something Travel (http://twenty-somethingtravel.com), is a wonderful blog on travelling and all its nuances. The best part is though it’s about travelling, it also teaches you a lot about life and appreciating the everyday beauty of the good and bad experiences. That’s why it is ‘The Sip of Life’ choice this week. It’s a blog by Steph, a young girl, who has been “either travelling or saving up to travel.” She has spent time living and working in London. So much is her passion for travel that her blog says she has celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, Christmas in Rome and Thanksgivings in the UK. Interestingly, in September 2010, she will begin a round-the-world trip. She’ll be travelling solo and blogging along the way.

Though I am no blogging expert, still the high points of her blog is that it has many relevant sections, including Trip Planning, Experiences, Resources, Travel Manifesto, Archives, etc. However, the one I like the most is the Philosophy section, which gives an insight into the myriad moods of the traveller or the tourist, and the musings of life, which is at the core of ‘The Sip of Life’.

So, next time, whenever your heart seeks to wander into a memorable journey, you can look up to Steph and her blog, along with the soft pace of ‘The Sip of Life’.

  1. Hi Amit Ji,
Twenty-something travel is a good blog. It was worth going through the contents of the blog. It really deserves to be featured under section “Blogger’s Choice”.

I, however, hope you will sometime include Hindi blogs and websites in this section. Many of them rightfully deserve our attention.

  2. Traveling has always been considered as a good first hand experience and nobody can deny the same.

  3. Travelling opens up your mind. It extends the walls of our home.
As we travel, we meet friendly people eager to help, and make your visit memorable through their love and affection. And we realise, how big, beautiful and great is our ‘home’ … the planet earth. This also brings out to the fore the futility of our hatred, misconceptions, and conflicts.

  4. Travelling to new places expands our horizon as we get to meet new people and learn about their culture and lifestyle. The exposure broadens our perspective towards life. We learn many things from our experiences while travelling which enable us to be better prepared for our future trips.

  5. gaadi bula rahi hai…citi baza rahi hai…I love traveling sir ! nice post and information
